when can i watch a movie before work starts?

today was my second futile attempt to catch a movie alone :(

was so set on catching the 'Revolutionary Road', starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio, yesterday at Shaw Lido after my checkup at Mount Elizabeth. Sadly, the next show time they had for that movie was 2hours later and i really didnt want to hang around orchard any longer, so i left for home. neither did i check out the timings at Cathay cos Lido has been my favourite theatre since i was young (: used to spend twosome times with mum on Saturdays when i was a kid, and we always watched movies at Lido. We had the same taste for movies, like 'Pearl Habour', 'The Mummy', 'Shrek', 'The 13th warrior', 'Lord of the Rings', 'The Shutter' and many many more, mainly the Roman warriors type and the horror movies (:

Woke up late today and had the urge to catch a movie again, so i checked the timings online and decided on 'Fast and Furious 4' at TM. But when i reached the entrance of the cinema, i saw this freaking longgg queue and i figured that by the time i got the tics, the show would already have started like 15mins ago. haha yes i was late. so too bad too sad :(

so... when can i watch a movieeee again?? like BEFORE i start work, which would most probably be next Tuesday?? and i dont like to go to the cinemas during weekends cos it's so so so EXPENSIVE! :(

General Anaesthesia

Went on GA for 2hrs and the feeling was sooooo amazing. not that i enjoy being on GA, but it's really amazing.

12.10pm: I was told to count to ten aloud. I counted "1, 2, 3... 10", then i thought "shitt.. how come i'm still awake??" So the nurse told me to carry on counting. and then i went "11, 12...." KNOCK. OUT.

2pm: Everything was over. I woke up, thinking I was still waiting for my turn.

Lucky for me, i didnt feel extremely emo after the GA, like how my friend described according to his personal experience. I just felt a little giddy and couldnt walk properly. haha..

Anyway, I got a job on the FIRST interview of my life! :DD and i'm gonna be a smart office lady at Changi Airport for at least the next 2years (: yep yep, not waiting for the unis' replies anymore. decided i'd be much happier this way and i'll work hard for sure(:
so do lunch with me if u guys ever dropby Changi Airport in future!! YAY!! :D

but neither did i think that it would be that hard

i admit i'd made several wrong choices before,
and it was all because of you.
but well, i got no one else to blame except for myself
so i'm working hard now, for all that i'd lost.

wayyy too free

Yesterday- went SIM to submit application, only to realise that they need to see all the originals for
certification
Today- went back again to settle both jermaine's and my applications and payments, BUT... i had to forget my i/c... zzz -.-
Tomorrow- going back AGAINNNN

am i too free or what? too free that i become so absent-minded, that i had to make so many trips just to get one thing done, and at the same time keep myself busy since i'm so free anyway... not to mention that i got to train and bus from east to west. hahaha.. been like a wandering soul around NP and SIM these 2 days..

mission accomplished?

a lazy thursday afternoon turned into a night of fun when lesi's sms came (: we went gym tgt, then skated from tampines swimming complex to simei east point to meet nori n xinyan for dinner and gossip session at starbucks. skating was STILL ALRITE... until nori's appearance. i lost balance while trying to hide from her, cos lesi didnt tell her i was coming. LOL. okok i know i'm lousy la-.- haha n stupid nori couldnt stop laughing. thanks. n thanks lesi for guiding me along the way! haha..

i blew the balloons enclosed in the parcel. but the last one burst=(( it was the prettiest cos i'd figured out the way to stretch the deflated balloon before blowing, so that the heartshape would turn out nicer.. BUT it had to burst!! T_T SIGHHH...

so, i've accomplished my birthday mission at last n i hope the girls would say YES! :D

Back from China. many events and happenings took place during my 6months of stay in China. words are just not enough to describe them. seriously. i've had REAL happy times as well as REAL sad moments there. and i mean R-E-A-L. now that OIAP has come to an end, it's time to move on.

2more days in suzhou. and another 13 in shanghai before i head back HOME. instead of getting too emo about leaving, i've chosen to have loads of fun and enjoy myself to the fullest! :D

they're right. we all know life won't be the same again when we return to sg, with each and every one of us leading our own lives and having our own programmes lined up, but that cannot be helped.. what matters most is that we know we WILL meet up as often as we can (: as i've already said, jurong will no longer be f-a-r to me, just like how shanghai isn't f-a-r from suzhou, and i am all ready to head down to jurong point for any meet-ups, birthday celebs whatsoever. but at the same time, tampines shouldn'ttt be THAT far for u guys too huh! since weijie is so in love with katong, so near tampines alr!

so for those who are leaving china soon, let's all have LOADS OF FUN JOY AND LAUGHTER before we head back, and have MORE MORE MORE when we're back :D
